As the Head of Retail Wealth Propositions and Distribution in our Funds Management, Product team, you’ll play a lead role in helping to translate the big picture view into what work is required to deliver amazing customer propositions, customer value, and business value. This role is accountable for bringing to life the roadmap for the ANZ Funds Management KiwiSaver and Retail Wealth customer proposition centred on customer needs and solutions - which will evolve based on customer insights, customer behaviour and changes in the market. Additionally, the role is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with ANZ Bank Customer Engagement teams (branch, contact centre and digital).

The Head of Retail Wealth Propositions and Distribution position is a dynamic and impactful role with a broad range of responsibilities. Some of your day-to-day activities may include the below:
- Own the end-to-end KiwiSaver and Retail Wealth value proposition, ensuring its successful delivery within the Funds Management product team.
- Be accountable for the financial and business performance of the Retail Wealth product suite, playing a key role in driving strategic growth across acquisition, retention, and roadmap execution.
- Collaborate closely with internal partners—including Customer Engagement and Centre of Excellence (CoE) teams—and external stakeholders to shape and deliver purpose-led customer propositions, solutions, and experiences.
- Identify, remove, and reduce impediments, blockers, and dependencies to accelerate speed-to-market for customer solutions.
- Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring it is consistently represented in decision-making and product development.
- Define, act on, and respond to customer insights to track progress against agreed customer outcomes and measures.
- Align and focus teams on the right priorities, enabling the customer behaviour change required to achieve key results.
- Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team culture, where all members and stakeholders understand the importance of their role in delivering customer value.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Extensive experience within the financial services sector, ideally with a strong focus on product portfolios.
- Deep technical leadership experience across Wealth, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics.
- A proven ability to drive growth, deliver excellent customer outcomes, and achieve strong business performance.
- Broad exposure to key disciplines such as design, digital, data, technology, marketing, analytics, strategy, and governance.
- Strength in innovation management, including guiding the creative process of others and successfully bringing new ideas to market.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, particularly in influencing and leading multi‑disciplinary teams without direct line authority.
- Confidence in engaging senior stakeholders, supported by strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- A growth mindset, with the ability to anticipate and plan for change, take a long‑term view of business needs, and pursue continuous improvement.
- A strong track record in building and maintaining effective partnerships, including working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in co‑design and delivery contexts.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into clear action.
