Mō te tūranga - About the role


As an Engineer in the MarTech Enablement & Operations team, you will design, build, and optimise reliable, scalable Marketing Technology platforms that support key business priorities. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

You’ll contribute positively to team culture by working collaboratively, sharing knowledge, and providing and seeking constructive feedback. With strong attention to detail, you will raise risks early and support iterative delivery cycles to ensure consistent and effective outcomes.

Role Type: Permament, Full time
Role Location: Auckland or Wellington
Work Hours: Standard 37.5 hrs, Monday to Friday

Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like


You will be responsible for:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining MarTech platforms to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
  • Working closely with product and delivery teams to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Supporting reliability and incident management by applying SRE practices, monitoring systems, and resolving issues quickly.
  • Improving automation and operations through Infrastructure as Code and process enhancements.
  • Upholding technical standards and contributing to continuous improvement of tools, platforms, and team practices.
  • Providing stand-by/on-call support during critical periods to maintain platform reliability.

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?


To thrive and excel in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

  • Clear communication and documentation skills, enabling effective collaboration with engineering and cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience working collaboratively with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
  • Hands-on cloud and platform engineering experience, applying security, performance, and scalability best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, including planning, refinement, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps and SRE concepts, such as CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, and operational reliability.
  • Operational and scripting capability, including incident support and intermediate proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python or Bash).
  • Exposure to modern SDLC and deployment platforms, including Git-based tools, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies like Kubernetes.
