Kia Hanga I Te Ao, E Ora Ai, E Tupu Ai, Te Tangata Me Te Kainga. At ANZ, we’re shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.

Mō te tūranga - About the role

As a Change Manager in our Delivery & Change Centre of Excellence (CoE), you’ll play a key role in supporting our mission to build a better, faster safer bank by designing and executing strategies that support our people to adapt and thrive during change.

Using your exceptional stakeholder management skills and strong delivery experience, you will work with our Project Delivery teams and business stakeholders to create positive human centred change experiences for our customers and employees across a broad portfolio of strategically prioritised projects.

ANZ NZ has a large, complex change roadmap ahead and by focusing on people outcomes this role supports our customers and teams to adopt the necessary skills, mindsets and behaviours that drive benefit realisation and value across our change portfolio.    This role is also critical in identifying, escalating and supporting the mitigation of people risks and issues associated with the delivery of changes, as part of our ongoing commitment to managing non-financial risk.

Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.

  • Work within our change management framework, to identify and analyse the stakeholder landscape and change impact.  Plan appropriate strategies and interventions that mitigate the change impact for each identified audience.
  • Work closely with business owners and key delivery stakeholders to deliver positive human centred change experiences for our customers and employees, (including working with our partners in the Strategic Communications and Capability CoE’s, as required).
  • Conduct business readiness assessments for impacted stakeholders.
  • Monitor the progress of the change plans and recommend opportunities, change mitigations and engagement strategies to evolve and adjust the change approach as required.
  • Create success measures for change, ensuring we meet adoption, utilisation and mastery targets.
  • Identify potential change risks, issues, or anticipated points of friction, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

  • Demonstrated ability to make sound and informed decisions under pressure, with strong analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Proven stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence, engage and foster alignment at a senior level
  • Ability to effectively manage risks within the scope of the projects and initiatives
  • Excellent communication, influencing, facilitating and negotiating skills, including the ability to digest complex concepts and communicate them simply and effectively
