Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Change Management Program Lead in ANZ’s Delivery & Change Centre of Excellence, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that the people and organisational approach to critical programs of work are effectively scoped, planned, delivered and embedded. You will be responsible for driving across the program to meet long-term business objectives while landing change safely and sustainably for our people and customers. Your ability to remove blockers, thrive in ambiguity and influence at senior levels will be instrumental in this role.

Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like
As a Change Management Program Lead, you will:

Provide expert advice on magnitude, complexity and materiality of people-related change to inform the delivery model and the change approach

Drive a highly effective change management plan and approach, stakeholder engagement, change champion community, organisation design, change readiness, delivery and embedding of changes across the program through in-depth consultation

Collaborate broadly with key stakeholder across the business to align and drive integrated approaches and ways of working, and partner with the business to support Program delivery readiness

Support the definition and implementation of the organisation design that will be conducive to the success of the program, driving alignment and clarity across ANZ Divisions on the program’s change vision through a compelling narrative

Define the transformation journey and create clarity around what how this will impact people, identification of key people readiness enablers, support tooling and upskilling of impacted stakeholders to help them navigate through the change

Actively identifying potential change risks, issues or anticipated points of misalignment, and develop bespoke team / business plans to mitigate or drive actions to support effective delivery

Track progress of the adoption and embedment of release activities, and support course correction, including post launch trouble shooting, in collaboration with the delivery team as required

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Expert level experience in Change Management principles, methods, processes, techniques and industry best practice including pragmatic change management approaches that deliver successful and desired change outcomes for large scale transformations

Previous experience leading large and complex organization change programs in a banking or financial services environment supporting people and workforce transformation

Significant stakeholder management experience with an ability to engage in expert consultancy, influence senior business leaders and engage wide audiences

Deep transformation and change management experience, including experience leading behavioral change experience in large scale transformations and supporting change strategy and tactical planning

Proven leadership capabilities, experience leading large scale complex changes, leading through ambiguity, fostering innovation and creating a compelling vision that inspires collaborators

Ability to apply an ‘outside in’ lens, ensuring thinking is reflective of best practice and industry trends, and an ability to understand aggregate change data and identify thematic change risks

Experience successfully leading customer and frontline impacting change initiatives while leading high performing change teams to deliver quality business outcomes

Strong understanding of Business credit lending would be highly advantageous
