Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Marketing Manager in our Marketing Centre of Excellence you’ll play a key role in leading campaigns and initiatives within the Home Owners and Insurance squad that support the segment marketing strategy.
You’ll develop and deliver effective marketing strategies and initiatives using paid advertising including digital media, and owned channels, working closely with your cross-functional squad.You’ll use customer insight to deliver marketing that resonates with home owners and create positive customer outcomes by ensuring propositions and initiatives that when delivered enhance our Customers’ financial wellbeing.

As a Marketing Manager, you’ll:
- Develop effective and efficient marketing campaigns and initiatives that meet defined objectives and are delivered to the agreed methodology for the brand and advertising discipline.
- Identify and develop propositions that best address current and emerging customer needs, in conjunction with your squad, senior marketing leaders and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure campaigns are communicated compellingly, demonstrate creative excellence, are well managed, and deliver results.
- Establish and maintain positive collaborative working relationships across the Marketing Centre of Excellence, with other business stakeholders and agency partners.
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- 5+ years marketing experience.
- Insight development - an inquisitive mindset and ability to identify and develop insights into initiatives.
- Creative nous - demonstrated understanding of brand building and creative excellence.
- Brand and advertising skills, including creative development, campaign management and media planning.
- Digital marketing skills across digital AV, programmatic, SEO, SEM and website content and design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload and capacity to deliver on agreed tasks on time.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build positive collaborative relationships with mid-senior level stakeholders.
- Sound judgement, strong problem solving and analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, and a desire to produce work of a high quality.
