Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Strategy and Enablement Analyst in our Funds Management, Strategy & Execution team, you’ll play a key role working closely with the following leaders to provide strategy analyst and administrative support duties:
- Managing Director Funds Management: Administrative support and analyst duties
- General Manager of Strategy and Execution: Analyst duties
- General Manager Operation and Technology, Funds Management: Administrative support duties

Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like
As a Strategy and Enablement Analyst, you will:
- Assist in providing BAU and project progress updates to key stakeholders, including co-ordination and drafting of weekly activity updates for MD Funds Management and ANZ Investment (ANZI) / ANZ New Zealand (ANZB) Boards.
- From outlines of information, write first drafts of papers, reports, and presentation notes.
- Conduct research and analysis around strategic initiatives including sourcing, analysing and summarising information.
- Initiate and mobilise small initiatives – defining requirements, scoping initiatives, driving delivery and reporting on progress.
- Work closely with our internal communications partner to support Funds Management team communication and development activities.
- Act as central liaison point for communication, ensuring harmonisation and consistency of information across the Funds Management business.
- Provide some administrative support for the MD, Funds Management and General Manager Operations & Technology.
- Some administrative/analyst support for the operational aspects of the Funds Management Leadership team and Funds Management Extended Leadership team meetings and forums, such creating agendas, scheduling speakers and capturing minutes and actions.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strong analytical skills in planning and reporting, with the ability to distil key information and present it effectively.
- Proven experience in preparing and writing documents for executive audiences while managing competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
- Adept at building collaborative relationships.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, agile environment that requires adaptability.
- Embraces a growth mindset and values both giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Confluence, with extensive experience using these tools.
