Role Location: Auckland (Primarily Pukekohe)

Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time

What will your day look like

In this role, you would have the opportunity to: 

 

  • Develop, maintain and grow a customer portfolio with sustainable long-term client relationships

  • Proactively seek to enhance relationship with networks and customers to foster collaboration and seek new business opportunities.

  • Role model good customer outcomes and make banking easier for complex customers, by understanding their business needs and developing insightful solutions

  • Enhance the bank’s profile in the marketplace – being present at networking events and showing an understanding of the business environment and our offerings

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all core products and recognise when to introduce your specialist knowledge and expertise

  • Provide ongoing leadership, support, and development for Relationship Associates and other staff as appropriate

  • Cultivate a broad network to exchange ideas and identify potential prospects for ANZ’s Agricultural and Commercial customer portfolios.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 

 

  • A successful track record in customer relationship management, risk management and an ability to influence outcomes

  • Demonstrated resilience and self-management with Growth mindset supported by a flexible approach with willingness to adapt

  • Proven business development capability and experience with building broad community networks.

  • Leadership ability, with experience in effective coaching, able to support others through change and adapt to new environments or ways of working

  • Ability to have communication skills that adapt style for audience and build proposals that meet customer needs, combining technical skills with confidence in discussions

  • Proven sound financial analysis and decision-making skills
