The Senior Compliance & Assurance Manager, Prudential role is critical to making this happen by advising on, maintaining and overseeing the compliance framework governing ANZ’s Conditions of Registration (CoR Framework).

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, implement and maintain the CoR Framework
  • Manage a robust approach to positive assurance over the CoR Framework
  • Manage periodic attestation and breach reporting processes
  • Influence and engage with stakeholders to ensure the framework and our obligations are executed in an effective manner
  • Provide specialist advice and training on matters relating to prudential compliance and
  • Report and present where required to our senior leaders and governance forums

 

Role Location: Auckland or Wellington

Role Type: Permanent

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and applying complex regulatory requirements. Ability to efficiently and effectively acquire regulatory knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively with regulatory bodies and to lead and manage complex and probing regulatory examinations to ensure best outcomes are achieved for the firm
  • Proven ability to provide sound rationale to influence and persuade stakeholders in the decision making process
  • Relevant degree and at least 4 years’ experience in a legal, regulatory or compliance role
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, in conjunction with proven ability to form strong relationships across large organisations and to influence and lead change
