Mō te tūranga - About the role

 

As a Business Analysis Practice Lead within our Delivery & Change Centre of Excellence, you'll provide people leadership and champion business analysis excellence across the CoE. A key focus area for you will be in AI enablement and uplift across the delivery lifecycle for the Delivery and Change CoE.  You'll combine AI and Delivery & Change expertise, benefits realisation and hands-on implementation to identify opportunities, drive adoption of new ways of working, and deliver measurable business value. Working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams, you'll embed best practice and deliver meaningful outcomes for our customers and business.

The Business Analysis Practice Lead position is a dynamic and impactful role with a broad range of responsibilities. Some of your day-to-day activities may include the below:

 

  • Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team of Business Analysts, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Shaping and evolving the Business Analysis Practice, building capability and embedding best practices across the Delivery & Change CoE.
  • Providing expert business analysis guidance, supporting teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Championing consistent analysis standards, frameworks and quality assurance to drive successful delivery and customer-focused results.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across ANZ to influence decisions, build trusted relationships and ensure clear communication of analysis impacts and progress.
  • Supporting discovery, inception and change initiatives, helping to define solutions, assess new opportunities and drive delivery excellence.
  • Managing workforce planning, capability and resource allocation to ensure the right skills are in place to meet current and future demand.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, simplification and continuous improvement while maintaining strong risk management and governance practices.
  • Identifying, assessing and implementing AI-enabled productivity or process-improvement opportunities across the delivery lifecycle

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing Business Analysis teams within complex delivery and transformation environments.
  • A strong blend of Business Analysis leadership, AI enablement, Delivery & Change expertise and benefits realisation, with the ability to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing AI-enabled productivity, automation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem, translating technology capabilities into practical business solutions.
  • Experience developing and scaling prompts, AI agents, templates, guidance and automated workflows.
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives from discovery through to implementation, adoption and benefits realisation.
  • Strong understanding of Business Analysis, Project Delivery and Change Management practices.
  • Experience measuring success and demonstrating value through productivity, efficiency and capacity improvements.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong facilitation, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience driving continuous improvement and future-focused solutions.
  • Experience supporting technology adoption and behavioural change through coaching, training and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Sound knowledge of Responsible AI, information security, privacy, risk management and governance principles.
  • A growth mindset and passion for innovation, balancing strategic thinking, people leadership and hands-on delivery to achieve meaningful outcomes.
