As the Performance Manager – Retail Products within our Personal Strategy and Execution team, you’ll play a lead role in delivering high‑quality performance insights that support Retail Products. Your work will help senior leaders and stakeholders clearly understand performance, make informed decisions, and drive both strategic and operational outcomes.
Operating as a key insights partner to the Retail Products portfolio, you’ll build and shape the performance roadmap, provide meaningful analysis, and influence direction through strong collaboration and trusted advice. As a member of the Retail Products Extended Leadership Team, you’ll contribute to both strategic and tactical discussions, helping guide priorities and decisions across the portfolio.

The Performance Manager position is a dynamic and impactful role with a broad range of responsibilities. Some of your day-to-day activities may include the below:
- Delivering high‑quality performance insights across the Retail Products portfolio—including cards, transaction and savings accounts, term deposits, and personal lending—to support informed decision‑making and business outcomes.
- Building strong relationships across Retail Products, DS&E, and key business teams, using data and insights to shape priorities and support strategic direction.
- Maintaining and evolving Retail Products reporting, ensuring leaders have clear visibility of performance through relevant, easy‑to‑access metrics and insights.
- Providing targeted analysis in response to business needs, including regulatory requirements, business‑as‑usual reviews, and emerging priorities.
- Supporting the development and review of initiatives and investment cases, helping assess value, impact, and financial outcomes to enable transformation.
- Contributing to a strong risk and continuous‑improvement culture, including streamlining and automating reporting where possible, strengthening documentation, and working collaboratively across teams to lift data and insight capability.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strong, proven analytical capability, with experience working in an insights, analytics, or performance‑focused role and the ability to make sense of complex information.
- A strategic and commercially minded approach, partnering with the business to deliver high‑quality insights and practical solutions that drive action.
- Well‑developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and build credibility across business areas, including at senior and executive levels.
- A high level of problem‑solving and organisational skill, enabling you to manage complexity, prioritise effectively, and deliver quality outcomes.
- Experience within banking or a comparable industry, with an understanding of how large, regulated organisations operate.
- Strong technical capability, including advanced Excel skills, financial modelling experience, and working knowledge of SQL or similar data tools
