Mō te tūranga - About the role

As a Manager, Manager, Technology & Information Security Risk in our Technology, Data & Information Security & Tech BU Support Centre of Excellence, you'll play a key role in helping ANZ identify, understand and manage technology, cyber, data and information security risks across the business.

You'll partner closely with technology, cyber security and business stakeholders to provide trusted risk advice, support governance activities and help embed effective controls. The role supports critical technology and information security portfolios and contributes to key initiatives, including cyber risk remediation, risk assessments and ongoing risk management uplift activities.

This is an opportunity to influence how technology and information security risks are managed across ANZ, helping ensure risks are understood, controlled and aligned to regulatory expectations while supporting safe and sustainable business outcomes.

Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like?

You'll help the business understand and manage technology, data and information security risk by partnering with stakeholders, providing risk insights and supporting the design of effective controls across processes, systems and data.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting technology, data and information security risk assessments and helping teams identify and address control gaps.
• Partnering with business and technology teams to embed sustainable risk controls and strengthen risk management practices.
• Providing risk analysis, insights and reporting to support governance forums, regulatory requirements and management decision-making.
• Supporting policy and regulatory change initiatives, remediation activities and continuous improvement across risk and control frameworks.

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Experience in technology risk, information security risk, cyber risk, data risk or operational risk.
• Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks, including control design, effectiveness and assurance activities.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and identifying opportunities to strengthen controls across processes, systems or technology environments.
• Experience supporting governance, remediation, regulatory change or risk uplift initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner across business, technology and risk teams.
• The ability to analyse complex information and translate risk requirements into practical business outcomes.
