The Manager role is critical to making this happen by acting as a key member of the team that is responsible for ensuring the Loan Syndications & Agency (LSA) business continues to win new mandates and generates strong customer relationships and returns.

In a typical day or week your work will involve the following:
- Assist in maintaining and growing our leading market share position.
- Assist in the delivery of syndicated loan products to client coverage.
- Drive the co-ordination of potential syndications with the Relationships, Project Finance and Leveraged & Acquisition Finance teams.
- Manage a small portfolio of Agency customers and maintain our role as “trusted advisor” (with support from Head of LSA).
- Build good working relationships with onshore and offshore lenders and advisors.
- Ensure close alignment with relationship management teams in formulating and executing customer strategy.
- Perform all Agency client coverage functions to a best practice standard.

To grow and be successful in the role you will ideally have, or aspire to have, the following:
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and administrative skills coupled with the ability to multi task and prioritise with maximum accuracy.
- Customer relationship management skills, to manage a small Agency customer portfolio.
- Drive, enthusiasm, and dedication to grow the Syndication business through marketing, insights, and origination opportunities.
- Awareness of loan markets, trends, and pricing - PowerPoint and excel skills required.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and other key stakeholders.
- Adherence to ANZ’s culture, values, strategy, policy, processes, and external regulatory/legal requirements.
