This role is within the ANZ Adviser Assessment team which takes pride in being a Centre of Excellence for home lending. Our assessment team is a market leader for the volume of mortgages we underwrite and has consistently been recognized for service excellence across the industry. As a Lending Assessment Specialist, you will:
• Support customers in saving for, buying and owning their own home or investment property.
• Coach customers through each step of the journey, ensure their experience with ANZ is seamless and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Deliver on our Customer Promises to ensure customers are strong advocates for ANZ.
• Identify appropriate products and solutions to meet your customer’s needs and deepening customer relationships.
• Develop strong knowledge of your local market, become an active member of your local community, enjoy business development activities and truly understand our customers.
• Act as a mentor and coach to other members of the branch and enjoy inspiring them to provide the best possible customer experience.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Have a strong customer focus, with home lending and retail banking experience
• Be financially savvy, with a keen attention to detail
• Be an active user and promoter of technology to educate customers about digital solutions
• Be able to multi-task and be highly adaptable to change and ambiguity
• Be an excellent communicator with great presentation and interpersonal skills
• Be skilled at managing priorities, ensuring tasks are handled efficiently and with focus
