Mō te tūranga - About the role

Join ANZ Investments as an Investment Analyst- Responsible Investment, where you'll help integrate responsible investment principles across our portfolios and partnerships. Working closely with internal investment teams, external investment managers and stakeholders, you'll deliver insights, support stewardship activities, and contribute to sustainable investment outcomes that create long-term value for our customers and communities.

Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like?

 

As an Investment Analyst, your day-to-day will include:

 

  • Partnering with external investment managers and our internal investment teams to assess and strengthen responsible investment practices across ANZ Investments' portfolios and asset classes.
  • Analysing ESG and investment data, generating insights, and supporting reporting for internal stakeholders and client-facing teams.
  • Contributing to stewardship activities, industry commitments, and the delivery of ANZ Investments' Responsible Investment programme.
  • Collaborating with product, risk, and investment teams to enhance responsible investment disclosures, communications, and customer outcomes.

To be successful in this role, ideally you’ll bring:

 

  • Experience in responsible investment, investment research, portfolio analysis, or manager selection and monitoring.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into meaningful outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders.
  • Proven relationship management skills and the ability to build collaborative partnerships across teams and external organisations.
  • A self-starter mindset, with curiosity, initiative, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

 

A keen interest in investing, responsible investing, sustainability trends, and the evolving role of ESG factors in investment decision-making. You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
