As an Investment Adviser in our Private Banking division, you’ll play a key role in supporting our vision to be the partner of choice for high-value customers, and to be recognised by our clients, people and stakeholders as integral to their success. As an Investment Adviser, you will:

Champion the ANZ brand and advice proposition by understanding and valuing the unique needs of each client, delivering personalized and inclusive advice

Provide comprehensive advice across a range of ANZ investment products and services, ensuring accessibility for all clients

Foster genuine connections with clients, appreciating their diverse backgrounds and financial goals

Develop and implement client plans that are tailored to personal needs and ensures expectations are exceeded

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the financial wellbeing of our clients and broader communities

Build meaningful relationships with colleagues across various business units, promoting a culture of respect and mutual support

Listen to, respect, and value our clients, gaining a deeper understanding of their diverse needs and aspirations

Role model and embed ANZ’s values and purpose within the team fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Proven experience in building genuine connections and relationships with clients in a professional setting

Ability to build trust and influence others

Effective communication skills, with the ability to tailor your style to meet the diverse needs of your clients

Resilience and a growth mindset, with the ability to embrace challenges and adapt your approach

An inquisitive mindset with a keen interest in investment products and financial markets

Ability to effectively build networks across both internal and external stakeholders

Previous experience in a banking or sales environment could be helpful, but not essential
A current Financial Adviser qualification would be beneficial for this role, however it is more important to us to find someone who is community-driven with strong values. For the right person, we will support you on a journey of personal and professional development, including obtaining the relevant certificates to be successful in this environment long term
