As an Executive Assistant at ANZ, you'll be at the heart of our dynamic leadership team, providing essential administrative support to the Group Chief Marketing Officer and New Zealand’s General Manager of Marketing, Data and Customer Experience. Your role will be key in managing a variety of people and business-related tasks, ensuring the seamless operation of two Executive leaders while enhancing your own personal brand and gaining incredible exposure across a large, corporate business. You will build and maintain key external relationships, meticulously plan and support marketing meetings and events, and actively participate in various initiatives and projects across the bank. As an Executive Assistant, you will:

  • Provide essential administrative and operational support to two dynamic Marketing Executive leaders, ensuring day-to-day activities run smoothly

  • Provide extensive diary, calendar and email management, co-ordinate stakeholder meetings, and organise local and international travel for your Executives, ensuring seamless logistics and time management

  • Support staff engagement by ensuring teams feel heard and supported in their roles by Executives

  • Develop, optimise, and implement effective administrative processes to enhance business efficiency and streamline operations

  • Join an established team of highly-capable EA’s, often working collaboratively to share ideas, support work-loads and combine forces to collectively foster a culture of excellence

  • Demonstrate the ANZ values and contribute to a customer-centric culture, fostering collaboration across teams and business units

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Significant experience in providing support at an Executive/General Manager level in an EA capacity

  • Previous experience working as an EA in a large, complex corporate organisation would be beneficial

  • Flexibility and resilience with the ability to independently solve problems with pace

  • Unparalleled professionalism and an ability to work comfortably in a confidential environment is essential

  • Proven results working with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise conflicting issues in a professional manner

  • Proven ability to build strong, open, and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners

  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively, confidently take action and be persistent in addressing issues

  • Superior communication and presentation skills, positive attitude and a growth mindset

  • Kindness and the ability to ensure both your own and your Executive’s work-life balance is effectively managed
