Mō te tūranga - About the role


As a Content Manager, this role is focused on delivering an outstanding customer experience on the ANZ website through a well-defined content strategy and thoughtful design. By applying your expertise in content and human-centred design principles, you will create and implement content improvements that address user needs, enhance site performance, align with marketing strategies, and support overall business objectives.

Hours: Standard 37.5 hrs

Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like


You will be responsible for:

  • Working collaboratively with content owners and stakeholders to edit and design website updates.
  • Using content design and editing skills to deliver continuous improvement through content solutions based on best practice, research, data, and customer insights.
  • Participating in, planning, and leading content renovation projects.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with content owners and stakeholders across the business, using exceptional communication skills to understand stakeholder needs, develop support for your work, advise on best practice, and champion the customer voice in decision-making.
  • Advocating for customer experience and accessibility.
  • Minimising risk by following approval, publishing, and content management processes.

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?


To thrive and excel in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

  • Experience designing, writing, editing, and publishing user-centred content for websites.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing content strategies.
  • Strong understanding of human-centred design principles and best practices.
  • Expertise in content design, including UX writing, information architecture, user journeys, and wireframing.
  • Ability to analyse and use data and evidence to make informed content decisions.
  • Experience working with design systems, component libraries, and brand guidelines.
  • Knowledge and application of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics preferred).
  • Proficiency with collaboration and design tools such as Figma, Jira, and Confluence.
