As a Service Consultant you’ll play a critical role in making this happen, by supporting new and existing customers over the phone with general enquires and educating them on our range of products & digital and self-service channels.


Experience or qualifications in banking aren’t required to be great in this role – we’ll teach you everything you need to know about banking through our comprehensive training program. Ensuring you have the skills, knowledge and experience to develop into further roles at ANZ



  • Role Details

  • Start Date: Monday 15th May 2023
  • Shifts: Variety of full time shifts available, all include one weekend day
  • Hours: Start between 09.00am – 12.00pm and finishing between 5:00pm - 8:00pm, working 7.5 hours per day (5 days per week), 37.5 hours per week
  • Training: Initial 7 weeks of full-time training from start date, Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm before moving into normal hours and days of work for approximately two months. Following this and additional 2 weeks of full-time training, Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm. You must be able to commit to all classroom learning onsite for the first 3-6 months to be considered.

  • Role Type: Permanent, must be a NZ Resident or NZ or AUS Citizen to apply.

What will your day look like

  • Connect with customers and provide outstanding service to help them grow and succeed
  • Provide expertise on products and services
  • Troubleshoot any issues customers may have e.g. technical issues
  • Work in a fast-paced environment managing a high volume of calls per day across multiple systems and channels

What will make you great in this role?

  • Being customer-focused to the core, with great phone manner and clear communication style
  • Being keen to learn the fundamentals of banking and to build a new career
  • Previous customer service experience especially if it involves dealing with customers
  • Excellent time management, proficient with utilising multiple systems and technology,
  • Attention to detail and keen eye for accuracy
