Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Business Development Manager in our Mortgage Adviser Distribution team, you’ll play a key role in helping advisers succeed by giving great service, guiding them through accreditation and training, and building strong relationships to support quality lending and customer outcomes.
This is a mobile role that involves regular travel across the region, so a full and valid New Zealand driver’s license is required.
Role Location: Auckland (portfolio covers North Shore & Northland)
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like?
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Proactively grow and maintain a portfolio of mortgage advisers through strong business development and relationship management skills.
- Provide advisers with prompt end-to-end home loan support, in a wide range of policy, process, product, commission and other ANZ-specific areas/topics.
- Manage compliance and performance related requirements to support ongoing adviser accreditation
- Develop and facilitate group training sessions and workshops to upskill advisers
- Organise and host adviser events and functions
- Attend and present at industry events (as required)
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring the following:
- In-depth knowledge of ANZ Home Loan products, policies and processes across Personal and Business segments.
- Proven experience in relationship management, business development, and/or portfolio management
- Confident relationship building skills in networking, negotiating and influencing to enhance adviser relationships and portfolio growth.
- Ability to manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to be proactive and approach challenges with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Knowledge of the NZ mortgage adviser industry advantageous, but not essential
