Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Systems Analyst in our Business Support team, you’ll play a key role in helping to undertake reporting and analysis for key metrics and operating reports across Customer Service Operation and contribute to the development and delivery of the technology roadmap, including on-going support of key systems and VBA supported tools and access databases.

Role Type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Role Location: Auckland or Wellington
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

The Systems Analyst will be developing solutions and applications that are robust, fault free and meet stakeholder needs using a range of best fit methodologies and applications within set timeframes.
As a Systems Analyst, you will:
• Continually reporting and analysing data to optimise decisions and strategies.
• Delivering improvements and support for business unit tools and macros, including MS Access Databases.
• Directing, planning and co-ordinating control activities of the business to:
- ensure adherence to Bank policies and procedures
- meet customer expectations and maintain agreed service standards
• Production of data for forums that monitor and review business performance
• Investigating data integrity issues, test assumptions and validate analytical results, ensuring accuracy and sensibility of findings.
• Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships with Technology, Risk and other Business Units along with active participation in Business Support team meetings.
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, You will need a good working knowledge of:
• VB, VBA, SQL, advanced excel (macros),
• Database design and maintenance
• MS Office applications, and
• Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
And you will ideally bring the following:
• Strong analytical skills
• Able to use initiative.
• Be proactive by taking action and being persistent in addressing issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strongly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders across both business and Technology
• Understanding of the Customer Service Operation Business Units and their various functions
• Understanding of product, customers, channels and business
