About the Role

 

As an Associate Director, FI Sales, Markets in our Team, you’ll play a key role in helping to drive growth in the Financial Institutions, Markets business in Australia. The role will be responsible for an existing portfolio of Funding and Middle Markets clients while also looking to grow market share and new business opportunities including transitioning & supporting commercial deposit clients. The role will also support the development of a data driven approach to customer engagement and workflow efficiencies.

What will your day look like?

 

The Associate Director, FI Sales, Markets is critical to making this happen and will:

 

  • achieve revenue target and funding target for Funding and Middle Markets team
  • be responsible for end-to-end trade life cycle management, including pricing, credit checking, deal input, end of day checks/settlement for deposits
  • manage  portfolio of clients, including focus customer coverage; this includes primary coverage of existing clients as well as generating growth in new target clients
  • identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to improve the customer and employee experience
  • ensure compliance with all internal and external process requirements
  • build and promote collaborative relationships across Financial Institutions Sales

What will you bring?

 

 

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

 

  • Knowledge and experience across funding and fixed income products 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse, understand and respond to client needs through active use of data
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to influence and collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Adapts future approach on the basis of previous experience, mistakes and developmental  feedback
  • Proven ability to identify customer opportunities, build relationships and provide effective solutions
  • Data driven with coding skills and AI solutions preferable but not essential
