About the Role
As an Advice Director in our Team, you’ll play a key role in helping to leading a team of Senior Private Wealth Advisers and Private Wealth Advisers in NSW, you will drive the delivery of exceptional advice to high-net-worth clients and family offices.
An effective and collaborative member of the Private leadership team, your role will undertake business planning and execution to achieve agreed outcomes.

Work Hours: Full-time, 40hrs/week
What will your day look like?
As an Advice Director, your key accountabilities will include:
Client:
- Drive the delivery of exceptional advice and service to UHNW clients.
- Originate and maintain key client relationships ensuring strong engagement and satisfaction.
- Proactively identify opportunities to engage with clients to deepen the relationships
- Improve client experience through process enhancements and utilise advice technology.
People:
- Lead & inspire the team to deliver excellent standards of advice and service to clients, fostering a high-performing environment and driving results
- Maintain a healthy team environment where people feel safe to speak up, supported during change, and motivated to add value
Momentum:
- Develop and execute business plans, support lead generation campaigns, and build networks with referral partners.
- Strong business acumen, acquire new business, demonstrate solid & robust pipeline management and drive a strong sales culture.
- Support and undertake momentum activity with internal referral partners across Private Bank and ANZ more broadly.
Risk/Compliance/Behaviours:
- Comply with ANZ requirements, adhere to legal and regulatory standards to ensure the business is well managed with a focus on risk management.
- Remain compliant with continuous professional development requirements.
- Utilise advice technology and other ANZ systems in line with process and procedure.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience managing, building and coaching professional UHNW advice teams.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results and achieve business objectives.
- Strong understanding of the market and end to end advice process, legal and regulatory requirements.
- High-quality communication skills, stakeholder relationship management, and business development capability.
- Financial advice qualifications meeting legal and regulatory requirements for a wholesale lead advisory business.
