About the role

Role Location: Melbourne VIC
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
 
Your role as a Business Analyst will work in a team elaborating and defining business requirements and process transformation, using Agile methods to design and deliver business solutions for initiatives within the Credit Process Transformation program – developing credit applications built on OCP (Online Customer Profile).  
 
In this role, you will form part of a squad building out features on the existing OCP Platform applications. 

  • The squad includes software engineers and data scientists, using Agile & HCD methods of design and delivery, with a focus on continuous user feedback.   
  • You will be required to document user stories with a focus on credit analysis, using external and internal data sources to derive insights. 
  • You role requires working with multiple stakeholders, including R&A, Credit, technology and external data vendors to deliver high value features.  

   
Also, you will be required to work in a dynamic and changing environment and adapt quickly to challenges arising from the agile development approach.

Role accountabilities

This role is accountable for:

  • Develop requirements that are fit-for-purpose, accurate and display an understanding of the financial implications to the project or program and manage the requirements throughout the life of the project
  • Work efficiently with the customer to elicit project requirements that are fit for purpose, recommending appropriate stakeholders to be involved with elicitation activities
  • Display knowledge of business analysis processes, demonstrate ability to document and communicate requirements effectively and provide input for the improvement of business analysis processes and performance
  • Provide support to other business analysts and contribute to the professional development of the business analyst community at ANZ
  • Support the analysis of project and program risks and issues, adhere to change control processes and requirements traceability throughout the life of the project or program

  • Experience with both agile SCRUM and waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Experience eliciting requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, JIRA and Confluence
  • General knowledge of Information Technology and Systems. Experience in Tech/Digital/Cloud based projects
  • Experience in banking, especially Commercial and Institutional segments. Experience in deal origination and credit assessment. Experience in fulfilment processes such as loan creation, maintenance and documentation
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, continuing to make progress on complex problems with imperfect information. Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team. Growth mindset
  • Experience in Data Management, especially Data Migration. Experience in UI/UX design
  • Knowledge of ANZ Credit Risk Systems and data. Knowledge of ANZ Lending product suite
