The Simplification Tribe are responsible for Divisional Simplification across Australia Retail, including product and service simplification, product decommissioning and paper reduction initiatives. This role will work closely with other squad members from the Tribe as well as our business partners to decommission products to support our move towards future state.

What will your day look like?

As a Journey Expert within the Product Decommissioning Stream, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Delivering on squad and tribe goals to maintain our awesome team culture
  • Breaking down initiatives into a delivery roadmap of features, deliverables and epics
  • Work with your squad to facilitate collaborative sessions with our stakeholders, define user stories, write business requirements and support end to end delivery of initiatives
  • Analyse multiple sources of data so that we are making data-driven decisions, weighing up effort, feasibility and risk
  • Managing operational readiness; working with all stakeholders to ensure end to end Simplification delivery readiness and endorsements
  • Contributing to the ‘test & learn’ culture within the squad, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality and documentation
  • Supporting product and policy governance requirements
  • Working with our risk partners to identify and manage risks and controls for our activities

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Demonstrated experience or expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: project management, business analysis, product management, change management and implementation including customer and banker communication
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with strong influencing and relationship building ability to ensure business and customer impacts have been fully considered.
  • Excellent communication skills including: documentation, facilitation, and management skills to develop training materials, document procedure guides, update collateral and write communications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of a range of problem-solving techniques with an ability to multi-task and be highly adaptable to change and ambiguity.
  • A proactive attitude and curious mindset with the ability to explore customer needs collaboratively, using data to drive decision making
  • A desire to continuously learn new techniques and technologies, bringing innovative ideas into the squad.
  • Experience in delivering projects using Agile methodologies within dynamic, fast-paced setting as well as familiarity with agile tools such as Confluence and JIRA would be highly regarded.
  • CAP, Vision +, CTM experience preferred, but not required
