ANZ is building a significantly better Australian retail bank with ANZ Plus. Customer migration refers to the process of moving our customers to ANZ Plus so the benefits of our faster, simpler, and safer retail bank can be realised.
Equivalency stream within the Customer Migration Portfolio is responsible for the discovery of product and feature differences that need to be resolved to enable smooth migration of our customers.
Role Type: Permanent (multiple roles available)
Role Location: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane
Work Hours: Full-time
What will your day look like?
As an Equivalency Journey Expert, you are accountable for:
- Assisting the Product Owner in evaluating and identifying treatments for product and feature differences identified as part of Equivalency - working directly with ANZ stakeholders.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to identify, align and manage interdependencies whilst delivering customer/business value at pace
- Facilitate product workshops and syncs with a clear agenda and outputs
- Undertake a data-driven approach to identify treatments and business requirements to facilitate transition from current state to target state.
- Translating any technical components into business-friendly terminology to ensure stakeholder understanding
- Contributing to continuous improvements by building repeatable and re-useable capabilities (e.g., tools, processes, and frameworks)
- Effective governance of collateral, documents, Secure File Sharing folders used as part of Equivalency
- Ensuring risks and issues are raised to the Initiative Lead and mitigants and actions are captured and defined.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Sound ANZ product expertise of Retail and/or Commercial banking products - i.e., how the products operate across the value chain, including key product features, channels, the systems and processes that support the product.
- Demonstrated delivery experience across large programs and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver required outcomes
- An eye for detail - as a member of a team responsible for discovery and product equivalency, your willingness to iteratively improve precision and clarity is paramount
- Ability to synthesize detailed information and present key insights to facilitate decision making
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to problem solve and think quickly.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands, be resilient in a dynamic environment and balance needs of our customers, stakeholders and the business
- An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs and wants, putting them at the centre of everything you do
- Strong execution mindset, willingness to learn and be immersed in ANZ’s Agile Ways of Working eg. Understanding of Agile Delivery Principles, proficiency in tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Risk management knowledge - to identify, monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies, agreeing appropriate risk responses balancing the needs of our customers, stakeholders and the business
