In this pivotal role, you will champion the configuration and continuous improvement of our GRC tool, making it a seamless and empowering experience for our people. Leveraging your leadership, business acumen, and Agile mindset, you’ll ensure our systems are not only aligned with the NFR Framework but are also intuitive and accessible for every business user. Collaboration will be at the heart of your work—you’ll partner with Risk SMEs, Business Governance & Controls, Technology, Reporting, and Change & Learning teams to translate complex business and regulatory needs into practical, effective solutions. Together, you’ll help embed a culture of proactive risk management and enable ANZ to thrive in a world of evolving challenges.

What will your day look like?
As a Senior Project Manager, you are accountable for:
- Shape the Future of Risk Management: Partner with NFR Framework and Governance teams, as well as business stakeholders, to gather insights and co-create the next generation of our non-financial risk GRC tool, NFRHub. Your adaptability and people skills will help you tailor your approach to every unique challenge and stakeholder.
- Be a Data Detective: Dive into data, industry research, and feedback—both numbers and stories—to uncover what our business truly needs. Your discoveries will fuel smarter decisions and drive meaningful change.
- Master Your Craft: Use your system management expertise to map the end-to-end lifecycle. Spot what’s working, what’s not, and where we can raise the bar—then help standardise and embed improvements across the organization.
- Design Solutions That Stick: Bring your ideas to life through engaging presentations and prototypes. Collaborate with colleagues to turn business needs into intuitive system features, flexing your style to suit every audience and situation.
- Focus on What Matters Most: Help plan releases and prioritise the backlog, ensuring our efforts align with strategic goals. Your input will keep delivery plans on track and focused on what delivers the most value.
- Keep the Release Train Running: Clarify and confirm features and epics, ensuring everyone’s on the same page. Take an active role in stand-ups, showcases, and retrospectives—removing roadblocks and smoothing the path for successful releases.
- Tell the Story, Drive the Change: Work with Change colleagues to craft compelling narratives and learning resources that make complex concepts simple and help embed NFRHub across the business.
- Unite Diverse Voices: Support the rollout of NFRHub changes, respond to questions, and foster a collaborative environment where everyone can contribute to great outcomes.
- Champion Risk Governance: Proactively identify, manage, and resolve delivery risks and issues. Support non-financial risk governance through active participation in advisory and risk forums.
- Grow Yourself and Others: Invest in your own learning and development, while supporting your colleagues to grow and succeed alongside you.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Courage and commitment to drive change.
- Able to build strong, collaborative, open working relationships and influence/negotiate to constructively challenge and allow for robust conversations to achieve desired outcomes while maintaining the relationship.
- An ability to think about and solve complex issues in a strategic manner, considering the broader context and implications and using a range of analytical techniques.
- Ability to explore user needs in a data-driven way, develop and implement innovative solutions, test the outcomes, and iterate.
- Strong user experience skills and experience in applying HCD techniques to optimise customer journeys and experiences.
- Strong project management skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities and conflicting issues in a professional/risk-based manner.
- Experience / Certification with Agile and sound knowledge of Scrum and iterative release delivery.
- An inquisitive mindset with an ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions that enhance the user experience.
- Resilience and a fast-paced approach with a strong growth mindset.
- Experience in managing the delivering of work via 3rd parties or partnerships and/or teams across multiple functions (network of teams)
