About the Role

As part of the Performance Team, this role aligns to a portfolio in Business & Private Bank to drive performance and engagement. This role is responsible for supporting the highest priorities for the division and portfolio to increase business performance, customer outcomes and banker capacity / engagement. The role provides support to the Portfolio Managing Director and Leadership Team for prioritised performance insights, divisional priorities (e.g. Suncorp, KYC), banker communications and supporting the essential requirements for change implementation.

This role will be focused on delivering the Suncorp Bank migration, and owning the design and delivery of three key parts of the B&PB Broker workstream.
1. Migration of broker commissions and delivery of commission related treatments.

2. Transfer of broker regulatory and compliance functions, and

3. Broker profile matching and data readiness

We are looking for an individual who understands project delivery, data constructs and has strong communication skills. 

 

Role Type: 5 months Secondment

Work Hours: Full-time, 40hrs/week

What will your day look like?

This role will be accountable for:

- The Managing Director, Leadership Team and Performance Lead for the highest priority initiatives to aid business performance, customer outcomes and banker engagement.
- Segment Sales & Service through performance insights and an effective operating cadence.
- Divisional priorities most relevant to the Segment, e.g. Suncorp, KYC
- Essential activities that are segment specific for prioritised change initiative implementation e.g. NRFA review and signoff
- Working collaboratively with product and enablement providers to articulate and seek prioritisation and effective delivery of products and services to meet the segments needs
- Ensuring delivery of segment hygiene activities to maintain a well-managed business and meet regulatory requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to coordinate strategic initiative support across different segments to maximise alignment and impact.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Planning & Prioritisation: strong ability to plan and prioritise demand to deliver initiatives and services against customer / user needs and strategic priorities. Able to manage individual and team workload against pipeline of demand.
• Customer focus: defines and measure success through the eyes of the customer and banker, anticipates, understands and responds to evolving customer need
• Stakeholder Management / Influencing: strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence teams and / or leadership to drive alignment and delivery of initiatives
• Communication: the ability to convey information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. This includes active listening, presenting ideas, and facilitating discussions.
• Translates data into meaningful insights to guide decision making, problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Business Management: strong ability to execute and flex across multiple business / segment management activities to achieve set objectives.
• Change Management: Prepare, engage and support people to successfully deliver, embed and adapt to change which safely drives desired outcomes.
• Commercial acumen: The ability to take a big picture view of the organisation, the market, external and internal pressures and trends and identify actions or strategies to drive efficiency and create long-term value.
• Risk Management: A logical and pragmatic method of establishing the context, identifying, analysing, evaluating, treating, monitoring, and/or communicating risks associated with any activity, function or process in a way that will enable the organisation to minimise losses and maximize opportunities
• Critical thinking: The ability to use logic and reasoning to analyse, evaluate and synthesize a range of information to understand an opportunity or challenge.
