As a Senior Analyst in our Technology Assurance and Controls, you’ll play a key role accountable for ensuring that risks associated with day-to-day operations are manage and governed appropriately.

What will your day look like?
The Tech Risk & Info Security Specialist will ensure that Technology Policies and Procedures are adhered.
As a Tech Risk & Info Security Specialist, you will:
• Work with business stakeholders to evaluate internal and external business environment to identify the causes and drivers of technology risk and scenarios; identify key controls that prevent the risk from materializing or detect and correct through remediation once the risk occurred; monitor material changes through indicators.
• Ensure a globally consistent well managed approach is taken to risk identification, assessment and mitigation across all the Business and geographies.
• Participate in projects to provide oversight on Business Impact Risk Assessment, Business Process Impact Assessment and iProject.
• Collaborate with regional counterparts on initiatives looking to enhance the control and governance framework and ensure consistent understanding of relevant of standards and guidelines applicable to the Business.
• Influence and drive the risk culture across the Business through conducting training, awareness, case study sessions on themes relevant to the current control environment to ensure uniform appreciation of existing risk and controls.
• Participate in business forums and other cross regional forums, as deemed as appropriate.

Demonstrated experience in producing divisional and executive risk reporting.

Ability to manage own time and prioritise workload and deliverables.

Intermediate skills in MS Office suite (excel, PPT and word).

The desire to learn and build on new and existing skills and capabilities.

Knowledge and ability to process, map and transform data from raw form ensuring it is valuable and appropriate for analytics and downstream consumption.

Ability to manage the output of exemplary analysis (of key risk information e.g. controls, treatments, risks, events, incidents and audit issues, etc.) and translate such data into a consumable product for executives, boards and sub-committees.

Experience in a business domain and its technology environment

Sound understanding of operational risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, delivery standards and control frameworks (CObIT, NIST, SANS, ISO27K, etc.)
